My approach is expressionist and human oriented, his animal side, emotional side, his energy – this is the starting point – often from live models, and more and more an action painting approach.
Then, it may sometimes evolve into a more abstract and mental construction, as a choreography of shapes, of colors, of tension and imbalance.

As I sometimes tell to friends, my work is gut, from the primitive to reach the spiritual, to meditate on our flaws, our human limitations somehow – to remind us that we are just tiny things and that we all have a kind of madness to live.

If you get scared, or get shocked, if it makes you want to cry or laugh – then it hits its goal. And then there is an emotional crystallization, which can help us meditate on what we are, deeply, as human being.
