JOAN MIRO WAS BORN HERE

The Passatge del Crèdit was built between 1875 and 1879. The monumental ensemble is characterized by the use of decorative wrought-ironwork, one of the major urban-planning innovations in the latter part of the 19th century and the artist Joan Miró was born here in 1893.
