Matthieu Kowad (1985, Vannes, France)

He moved to Catalonia in 2015 and now lives on the Costa Brava.

His work, focused mainly on sculpture and sculptural paintings, is developed from everyday objects that he transforms and stages to create poetic and original pieces, situated on the border between reality and imagination. Through his creative process, he enjoys exploring human behavior.

He has also taken part in numerous festivals, where he has presented installations and scenographic works that invite viewers to reflection and introspection.
