My figurative artwork, wants to go beyond a pose and a body. Investigates with the movement and adds imaginative details or recycled objects found on the streets. My intention is to personalize and give character to figures with expressive faces and with sense of humour, creating sometimes dream-like figures, social issues or with some surrealistic point but always looking for a touch of poetry and generate questions to the spectator.
I use clay as an expressive material. This special kind of clay, seduces me for its physical characteristics because it forces me to get an intimal relation while modelling with my own hands, whereas the necessary care to preserve it during the creation process, produces me a personal union with every piece.
