“Piece of Art” marks a departure in Mark Rox’s artistic journey, placing emotion, movement and pure visual energy at the center of the work. The artist moves away from narrative and symbolic interpretation to focus on the immediacy of perception. Colour, flow and rhythm create a visceral, sensory experience in which the viewer is invited to simply look and feel. The composition evokes the illusion of ink dissolving in water. Pigments appear to breathe, merge and transform across the canvas, without a fixed center or hierarchy.
Beyond the physical canvas, Piece of Art can be activated through an augmented reality application, revealing additional layers of colour, movement and energy and transforming the painting into a living, immersive experience.
